Drum lessons unlock a new passion for kids in Gashora, Rwanda

Artist Fi Leong has been doing online drumming classes for the kids at the Jonathan foundation and they have been absolutely loving it. We bought buckets and tin pans to make things frugal and everyone can participate. We wish we could share the video but it won’t get displayed for copyright reasons! We keep getting more and more buckets because more and more kids want to learn.

Fi Leong is a Singapore-based business development professional, pianist, and creative entrepreneur with a unique background spanning both the corporate and creative industries. Holding ABRSM Grade 8 certifications in Piano Practical and Music Theory, alongside a Master’s degree in Film Scoring, he has performed across renowned stages including the Esplanade, Marina Bay, and various venues throughout Southeast Asia. Fi was also featured on the television documentary City Buskers, where he performed across countries including China, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, and Taiwan.
