Young artists write a new history in Siem Reap, Cambodia with downtown mural project

Alumni and teachers from one of the program we support Colors of Cambodia, recently planned and created this beautiful mural together in downtown Siem Reap. The initiative was theirs entirely, they sought funding and approval from the city and created this piece together over the course of one week. It is truly an incredible moment that marks the power of community and creativity throughout the globe.

CoC Instructor Field Trip

We took some of the instructors of Colors of Cambodia, all of whom are alumni of the Colors of Cambodia free arts program, on a field trip to Phnom Penh and Vietnam to see the art in different galleries and museums. We had such a blast! The truth is, you can look at a picture of a painting or work of art all day, but there’s just nothing like taking a look at the real thing. Many of the CoC instructors had never traveled outside of their home in Siem Reap. Here’s a recap of the good times.
